JESSICA ARIN BROWN
Professional Point of View
In an increasingly tech driven world, our values, empathy, and creativity are our comparative advantage. I ardently believe we need to use these qualities to ensure that we use these new technologies and organizational models strategically and with intention.
WHO I AM & HOW I DO MY WORK
People are at the center of everything. I use my core values of authenticity, compassion, and integrity to lead teams to fulfill their full potential. Give me a big strategic challenge, a white board, and brains to collaborate with, and I'm happy as a clam.

I am a former dancer, turned international relations enthusiast, with a passion for strategic use of the arts for social change and economic development. I love dystopian novels, being in nature, and going on adventures with my co-pilot, Buddy the husky.

WHAT I DO: CORE CAPABILITIES
WHAT I CARE ABOUT: CAUSES
Technology & Innovation

From tracking future exponential technology trends at the Deloitte Greenhouse, to using prize design approaches to tackle Grand Challenges at XPRIZE, I am always hungrily seeking out what's next. I love exploring new approaches, and dreaming big about how tech and organizational trends are going to disrupt different industries.
Social Entrepreneurship

After years focusing on top-down development approaches, I'm convinced that the only way to achieve sustained, relevant growth is by leveraging the capabilities of home-grown entrepreneurs. My focus has centered on education, health, arts, agriculture and civic engagement with experiences in the U.S., Vietnam, India, Saudi Arabia, Italy and Switzerland.
Art &
Creativity

As a former dancer, my love for the arts permeates everything. The arts are uniquely able to build empathy, lessen boundaries, and provide voice to the voiceless. The artistic lens should be integrated into all elements of design and policy making. I have advised arts-based non-profits, developed an initial strategy for an arts incubator, and focused on art based diplomacy at the State Department and UNESCO.
